Muhammed Talal Hussain is an attorney at Encore Law Group LLP, working in the firm’s Litigation Department handling matters in consumer class action, lender liability, wage and hour, intellectual property, business litigation, and landlord-tenant disputes. Muhammed has extensive experience with Ponzi scheme litigation, foreclosure defense, commercial real estate litigation, trade secret misappropriation, business disputes, and construction defect matters in both federal and state courts, and has tried cases in California state court. He has worked on cases that have settled or resulted in a verdict for well over $10,000,000.
Muhammed has been involved in lawsuits against large banks and insurance companies, and class action lawsuits against well-known corporations. He has been involved in appeals in federal and California state courts, including drafting and submitting appeals and writs. See, e.g., DuCoing Management, Inc. v. Superior Court, 234 Cal. App. 4th 306 (Cal. App. 4th Dist. 2015).
Muhammed graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and was on the Provost list for two academic quarters. In 2008, he received his law degree from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles. While at Loyola, he was the Vice President of the Consumer Law Society. Prior to graduating from law school, Muhammed was an extern for the Honorable David O. Carter, Judge of the United States District Court, Central District of California. Upon graduating from Loyola, he was admitted to the State Bar and the Central District of California.
Prior to and during college, Muhammed served in the United States Air Force and the California Air National Guard. As a first-generation lawyer and an immigrant, he takes pride in supporting and giving back to the community.
