Angela P. Chan, Esq.

Angela Chan is an attorney at Encore Law Group LLP whose practice focuses on corporate and securities matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, securities law reporting and compliance, corporate governance, technology licensing, and general business and corporate counseling.  Representative clients include entrepreneurs, start-ups, middle market companies and private investors in a broad range of industries such as technology, manufacturing, retail, financial services, entertainment and real estate.

Previously, Angela was a partner in the Business and Corporate Law Department at the Beverly Hills law firm of Ervin Cohen & Jessup LLP.  Prior to that, she was an associate in the Los Angeles office of Squire, Sanders & Dempsey LLP.

Angela was selected for inclusion in the Southern California Rising Stars list in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012, a recognition awarded to no more than 2.5% of attorneys in the region who are 40 and under or have been in practice for 10 years or less.

Angela received her JD degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 2001.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (with emphasis in Finance and International Business) from the University of Southern California (USC), graduating summa cum laude.
