This Privacy Policy applies only to the Firm's practices. It does not apply to websites or services operated by third parties.

Legal Services and Confidentiality

Submitting information through the Site or contacting the Firm does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is formed only through a written engagement agreement signed by the Firm and the client.

Information submitted before an attorney-client relationship is established may not be protected by the attorney-client privilege or the Firm's professional duty of confidentiality. You should not send confidential information regarding a legal matter unless an attorney at the Firm has authorized you to do so.

Once an attorney-client relationship has been established, information relating to the representation may also be protected by applicable rules of professional conduct, attorney-client privilege, the attorney work-product doctrine and the terms of the applicable engagement agreement.

Cookies and Analytics

The Site may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember user preferences, maintain security and understand how visitors use the Site. Cookies are small data files stored on your device or browser.

You may unsubscribe from Firm marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link contained in the email or by contacting us at info@encorelaw.com.

Even after you unsubscribe from marketing communications, we may continue to send communications relating to an existing attorney-client, vendor or other business relationship.

Third-Party Websites and Services

The Site may contain links to websites and services operated by third parties. The Firm does not control and is not responsible for the privacy, security or content of those websites or services. You should review the privacy policies of third-party websites before providing personal information to them.

Information Security

We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration and disclosure.

No security system or method of transmitting information over the Internet is completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to or maintained by the Firm.

Retention of Information

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide legal services, maintain business and professional records, comply with legal and ethical obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements.

The Firm's client-file retention practices may also be governed by the applicable engagement agreement, professional obligations and internal record-retention policies.

Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and the Firm does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 through the Site.

This section does not apply to information concerning minors that the Firm receives in connection with providing legal services.

Your Privacy Requests

You may contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information that you have provided to us. We will consider and respond to requests as reasonably appropriate, subject to applicable legal, professional, contractual and record-retention obligations.
